Lost Milkman!

Well, here I am sitting in the Grande Hotel de Como in Italy, without anything clean to wear – my luggage lost or misplaced!

I am here to learn more about cheese making from the kind folks at Sacco-Clerici.Â Well, I hope my luggage is found tonight or that the Italians appreciate my little traveling overall that I have on 😉

Everybody here seem so sophisticated, so I do not know what image this will portray, but hey, shit happens – especially when you work with cows, hey!Â Â Â Well, think of the Milkman tomorrow, and hope that his luggage pitches or that he at least does a decent job on washinh his clothes.Â Â

Elaine, my dear wife,Â I am missing you so much – I will show you this post when I get back!Â

Today I also visited ChaneÃ© Truter, cheesemaker at Imhoff Cheesery in Kommetjie, since 2003.Â ChaneÃ© is charming and I can see that she enjoys handcrafting the almost 20 types of cheeses they make.Â The cheese shop is housed in the old farm grain silo, beautifully renovated as you can see on the pic.

I also visited the cheese factory and enjoyed the innovatively practical way of doing things.

Her Camembert cheese especially comes highly acclaimed.
